Amaura London reed diffusers work by absorbing the fragrance oil up through our striking black reeds. Because they are porous, they slowly release the scent into the air, leaving a lingering scent. Our striking black reeds are made from high-quality cotton fibre reeds and are specially designed for a longer, more consistent diffusion without drying up, clogging or moulding like cheaper wooden reeds.
Q. How many reed diffusers do I need per room?
- Small room (bathroom, hallway): 1 x 100ml diffuser
- Medium room (bedroom, office): 2 x 100ml diffuser on each side
- Large room (living room, open plan area): 1–2 x 500ml or 1L diffusers placed at opposite ends
Q. How long do your reed diffusers last?
- 100ml: 4–6 months
- 200ml: 8–9 months (limted range)
- 500ml: Up to 18 months
- 1L: Up to 2 years
Longevity depends on airflow, humidity, and room temperature.
Q. What if my reed diffuser stops smelling but there’s still liquid left?
Simply flip the reeds to refresh the scent. For best results, we recommend flipping them once a week. If the scent is still faint, it may be time to replace the reeds with fresh ones.
