Q. How long do your candles burn for?
Our 280g candles have an impressive 50-hour burn time, ensuring long-lasting luxury and fragrance in your home.
Our 350g large candle will burn for over 60 hours
Q. As the candles are made from metal, do they get hot?
Our candles are designed with recycled metal vessels, which may warm slightly during burning but shouldn’t get too hot to touch. However, just like glass candles, we don’t recommend moving them once lit to ensure safety. Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and allow it to cool before handling.
Q. How long does it take to engrave a personalised message on a candle?
Our engraving service is a beautiful way to personalise your candle. Engraving takes approximately 5-6 working days, plus standard delivery time. If you need it sooner, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Q. What wax do you use in your candles?
We use a 100% paraffin-free coconut wax blend, which is clean-burning, non-toxic, and free from harmful chemicals like phthalates and parabens. This ensures a healthier, more luxurious candle experience.
Q. How can I stop my candle from tunnelling?
To prevent tunnelling and ensure an even burn, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface before extinguishing your candle—this is called creating a full “melt pool.” This is especially important during the first burn (typically 2-3 hours). Always trim your wick to 5mm before each use to maintain a clean and even burn.
Q. What do I do with the vessel once my candle is finished?
Our luxurious metal vessels are designed to be repurposed and refilled, making them a sustainable choice.
* Refill: You can reuse your vessel with our candle wax refills, extending the life of your candle while reducing waste.
* Repurpose: Once cleaned, your vessel can be used as a stylish storage container, a chic makeup brush holder, a plant pot, or even a decorative piece in your home.

Hi, I’m Sejal. Amaura London was born from my own search for calm after anxiety and my mum’s sudden stroke. I discovered how powerful scent can be for well-being—but also uncovered the hidden toxins in many candles.
I set out to create something better: clean, refillable, design-led home fragrances that elevate your space without compromise. Today, Amaura is trusted by customers across the UK and has collaborated with brands like Nike, L’Oréal and IWC Schaffhausen.
